The problem that the payment app for electricians is trying to solve is the need for a secure and efficient way for electricians to manage their payment transactions and finances. Traditionally, electricians would have to rely on manual methods for invoicing and collecting payments, which can be time-consuming and prone to errors. Additionally, traditional payment methods, such as checks or cash, may not be convenient or preferred by customers because of unauthentic cash payments and unavailability of receipts.
The goal is to design a payment app for electricians is to provide a comprehensive payment and financial management solution that improves the efficiency and effectiveness of electricians' business operations. The app aims to simplify the payment process by allowing electricians to create and send invoices to their customers quickly and easily, while also providing multiple payment options to customers, such as credit/debit cards, bank transfers, and digital wallets.
Overall, the goal of the payment app for electricians is to provide a convenient, secure, and professional payment and financial management solution that improves the experience for both electricians and their customers.
Used the Design Thinking approach for solving this problem. To practice design thinking we followed the below process.

I conducted interviews and created empathy maps to understand the users I’m designing for and their needs. A primary user group identified through research were electricians who had encountered series of issues and frustrations when it came to getting paid after their services.
This user group confirmed that users would prefer to use a digital payment method for transactions as it is relatively safer compared to cash payments.
